Last week, we announced the open beta for their highly-anticipated, hybrid strategy-RPG, WarTune.
Over 60,000 players registered to play the game since the open beta launch on August 17, 2012, and now, a second server will be launched Friday morning followed by an EU server tonight at 10:00 pm PST. You can participate in the open beta events listed here.
In Wartune, players take on the role of a knight, mage, or archer to progress through a fantasy-based RPG plotline, while constructing and maintaining a thriving city and participating in dozens of daily quests and events. With thousand-person boss battles, city-building, PvP battle grounds and arenas, stunning graphics, a fascinating storyline, angels, demons, monsters, and farming, Wartune is bound to entertain both the casual and hardcore gamer alike.
Players’ move and selecting goals are controlled by left mouse button.
In battle, you can use skill by clicking skill shortcut key(Number key 1 to 5) And QTE button(W,S,A,D)/ （↑、↓、←、→）to increase skill effect.
Equips are separated into Helmet, Necklace, Armor, Weapon, Ring and Jewelry. Each hero can gear 8 pieces of equips.
All equips and items have different quality. You can judge them through color. Such as, General (white), Excellent (green), Superior (blue), Outstanding (purple).When heroes gear a piece of completed suit, they can acquire extra traits bonus.There are 3 holes below the hero in equips interface, which are used for equipping Rune. The amounts you can gear each hole is according to the overlying quantity of items in Inventory. You can spend Rune. Each time you use a Rune successfully, you will lost one.
The following map is the interface of battle for players.
The present player and his/her troops are standing on the left side of the interface.NPC is standing on the right side.In the bottom of the right, there is Lord’s blood volume, player’s skill, rune and rage value. By clicking left button of mouse or 1, 2,3,4,5 can use corresponding skills. By clicking left button of mouse or z/x/c can improve the effect of Rune. Every Rune is corresponding to a skill. Just as skill, it needs time to cool down. After gear Rune, hero can use it. The Rune is consumable. To use one will decrease one. When you run out of Rune, it will display “0”.
After you use some skills, it will pop QTE. If you put in correctly, the skill bonus will increase.
You can enter into Astro through “Astro” button in function bar or click shortcut key “H”.
Under Astro interface, there are five water crystals. From left to right, the level become higher and higher.
You can click water crystal to divine so that you can acquire random Astrals.
The higher level water crystal it is, the more chance you can get rare Astrals.Each time you capture a star, you have a random chance of unlocking a higher level water crystal.Only water crystal of level 1 can be click continually.
Astro needs to spend gold. The higher level water crystal it is, the more gold you need to spend.
The Astrals you have acquired from Astro will list on the top of the interface.
The unlocking state of the water crystal will not be clear. If all your five water crystals are unlocking at present, when you log out and reassess, five water crystals are still unlocking.
One click pickup: It can pick up all Astrals which are not lowest quality automatically to Inventory. When the Inventory is full, it will show “Inventory is full”.
One click sells: It will sell all the worst Astrals.
Astrals: Open the equip interface of Figure Astrals
Integral Exchange: Through Astro, you can get integral. If your integrals reach a certain standard, you can go to “Integral exchange” to exchange the best Astrals.
One Click Synthesize: After click “One Click Synthesize”, all the unlocking Astrals in Inventory will be swallowed by best Astrals. The best Astrals will increase experience. If the quality is the same, the Astrals of highest level and most experience will be superior to reserve.
Lock: To click “lock” button, the mode of mouse will change. At this time, if you click Astrals, the Astrals will be locked. To click again, lock will be cancelled. When you click: One Click Synthesize”, the locking Astrals will not be swallowed.
Astro: Click to turn back to Astro interface. You can go on Astro, pick up or sell astrals.
Bounty Hall is located in the castle. Every day you can get 20 Bounty Quests. Bounty Quests are separated into 5 levels. The rewards of every level are different.
Bounty Hall is a building used for announcing Bounty Quests.
To complete Bounty Quests can acquire abundant gifts.
Bounty Hall is reset every 30 minutes. Every reset will produce 4 Bounty Quests.
From highest level to lowest level, quests are separated to five colors: Orange (highest), purple, blue, green and white.
Bounty quest counters are reset daily at 5A.M.Automatically reset every 30 minute.Two free resets are allowed per day.
PVP is opened for 1 hour every day in fixed time.
Players can establish rooms by themselves or choose other rooms to join a group.
The system will match your opponent as the average grade of your group.
6 medallions for winner while 2 medallions for loser.
Medallion can be used for exchanging rare equips and items in arena shop.
Arena challenge has no impact in damaging blood, army and battle condition. It only can influence your rank in duel field.
According to the rank in duel field, every time you can select 4 players as your rival.
After successful challenge, if your rank is lower than your rival, your rank will exchange. Even though you fail to challenge, but if your rank is higher than your rival, the rank will not change.
You can choose your reward by turning over a card after every victory.
There are 20 chances for you to challenge every day with 10minutes between each challenge. It is available to accelerate cool down.
If the player had continuously won certain battles, we will give an announcement to whole server.
